Welcome Lucy Durack as a NEW Little Big Steps Ambassador, 2024!

“I am honoured to be part of the quest to get kids with cancer moving. This seemingly simple mission is so powerful in the journey of healing and as we all know so important to all of our mental as well as physical health. It can be really hard to do alone, both for the carer and child, especially after being so sick; some kids even lose the strength to walk, so dedicated physiotherapy is needed to build them back up slowly, safely and with care. I’m thrilled to join Cindy, Cass and Dr Shane to work together towards our goal of providing physiotherapy support to get every kid with cancer in Australia back up and moving.”

We are  absolutely thrilled to announce that Little Big Steps has a new Ambassador to help us promote the work we do – giving kids with cancer the support they need to remain strong and active.
The amazing Lucy Durack has agreed to join our dedicated team.

Lucy is an AACTA, Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Award winner and one of Australia’s leading ladies, with major stage and screen roles to her credit including Glinda in Wicked (GFO), Sophie in The Letdown (Netflix/ABC), Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical (GFO), Roxy in Sisters (Network Ten/Netflix), Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (GFO), Chantelle “Tugger” Waugh in Doctor Doctor (Nine Network/Acorn TV), Rose Walker in Neighbours (Network Ten) and Audra in A Perfect Pairing (Netflix)..

Lucy records the I Love With Lucy podcast for Nova Entertainment, is the co-founder of evidence based pep talk app Hey Lemonade which won Best New Business at the 2023 AWSBC Awards and is in development with Gristmill and Jungle Entertainment on multiple television series.
