Is Little Big Steps interested in partnering with ambassadors?

Yes! We are.

If you work within sports, health or general wellness, you’ll understand how much harder life is when you’re not exercising. If you’re passionate about discussing exercise medicine’s benefits for everyone, you’ll be a great fit for us. We’d love to hear from you to discuss how we can work together. Email us to chat.

CHAD WINGARD LITTLE BIG STEPS AMBASSADOR
Little Big Steps Ambassador

Chad Wingard

We are thrilled to have Chad on board, and together we look forward to helping change the lives of kids living with cancer.

Little Big Steps is super excited to have Chad Wingard on board as our newest ambassador. Recruited by Port Adelaide originally, the former Rising Star Nominee, top 10 AFL draft pick, and two-time All Australian AFL footballer moved to Victoria in 2019 to take up a key role with the Hawthorn Football Club.

Little Big Steps and Chad are almost the perfect fit as fitness and helping kids, especially those with cancer, is close to Chad’s heart. He raised over $100K at the World’s Greatest Shave in 2020 in honour of Oscar Noye, the young son of one of his closest friends who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia at Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

We are thrilled to have Chad on board, and together we look forward to helping change the lives of kids living with cancer.

ZACH GILMORE LITTLE BIG STEPS AMBASSADOR
Little Big Steps Ambassador

Zach Gilmore

Zack firmly believes exercise was a huge factor in the positive outcome of his health.

Zack was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoblastic lymphoma in October 2015 . He was 16 years old. Only 6 weeks prior to his diagnosis Zack had won a medal in the National Road Cycling Championships so it completely turned his world upside down. Most of his 2.5 years of treatment were spent in Melbourne at the Royal Children’s Hospital during which time he had many allergic reactions and infections including a very scary neutropenic sepsis which doctors thought was from the flesh-eating bacteria necrotising fasciitis. Despite such battles, Zack remained devoted to his bike and trained and raced when he could whilst on chemotherapy. Zack attended 2 National championships whilst undergoing treatment and maintained a scholarship with the Tasmanian Institute of Sport. In between Zack exercised regularly both for his general fitness but also for the mental health benefits. Zack firmly believes exercise was a huge factor in the positive outcome of his health.
