Melbourne charity Little Big Steps is handing out fitness trackers to a group of children with cancer at Princes Park to encourage them to be more active while fighting the disease. Co-founder Cindy Bakos states increasing physical activity in them is safe and effective in decreasing fatigue and improving physical function. She adds the results will generally improve the kids’ mental wellbeing.
